Inspired by NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD), Moon Minute Monday (M3) posts about an interesting geological feature on the Moon every Monday (duh). The aim of the website is to showcase the amazing geological diversity our Moon has, its scientific importance and why there is an impending need to go back to the Moon.

Yes, the name “M3” is a play on the science instrument built by NASA named M3 (Moon Mineralogy Mapper), flown onboard ISRO’s Chandrayaan-1 lunar orbiter. 😉

Moon Minute Monday (M3) is run by Jatan Mehta, who works in the Planetary Science group at TeamIndus Moon Mission. This project is not affiliated with TeamIndus.

Keep looking up!
